After a very long journey to get to Bali, I couldn’t wait to check in to The Anvaya Beach Resort in Kuta for some relaxation. Kuta is one of the most famous places to stay in Bali if you enjoy the crowds. We drove through the hustle and bustle of Kuta and finally arrived at a gorgeous entrance and as soon as I walked in, I felt a great sense of calmness. I immediately forgot about all the crowds outside and knew I had chosen the right Kuta beach hotel for my stay.
The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali Review
The entrance and lobby area is so beautifully designed with a nice blend of Balinese and modern architecture. It’s an amazing place to have a seat and enjoy a welcome drink, cold towel, and the warm smiles of the staff.
The Anvaya Beach Resort is huge and it’s amazing to get lost on the stunning grounds of the hotel and discover all its corners. There are several pools, amazing seating areas, and great areas to take a stroll on Kuta beach.
The hotel is set on the famous shores of Kuta Beach, which makes it a perfect place for all ages to enjoy. Stepping out of the peaceful Anvaya Beach Resort, you will find loads of things to do including a great shopping area, restaurants, cafes, and spas.
For complete relaxation, the in-house Sakanti Spa offers traditional Balinese treatments, using only fresh local ingredients.
Jetsetter recommendations: hang out next to the pool area around sunset time to catch the Balinese musicians playing traditional instruments and walking around the resort
The Rooms at The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali
The hotel offers 495 rooms with so many different categories to suit every type of guest: Deluxe Rooms, Premier Rooms, Family Premier Room, Deluxe Suite, Premier Suite, The Anvaya Suite, Beach Front Private Suite, The Anvaya Villa.
I had the pleasure of staying in The Anvaya Suite and I was blown away with how stunning the room was. As I walked into my private villa with a pool, I immediately fell in love with the very spacious bright bedroom with large windows and sliding doors that lead to the private terrace.
The terrace has a gorgeous seating area and is surrounded by beautiful greenery, which gives you lots of privacy with a very tropical feel. The best thing about the terrace is the amazing plunge pool which is the perfect place to cool off with a fresh coconut after a long hot day.
The part that was a very pleasant surprise was the extraordinary bathroom. I opened the sliding doors to enter the bathroom and I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was even bigger than the bedroom itself with two sinks, a semi-outdoor shower, a closed shower, and my favorite part: the huge bathtub which is perfect for bubble baths.
Luxury amenities such as toiletries, delicious coffee, bathrobes, and slippers are also provided. There is also an option of ordering room service using the TV.
Jetsetter recommendations: order a coconut to your room to enjoy the private plunge pool or have a chilled glass of wine in a warm bubble bath in the stunning bathroom
Restaurants at The Anvaya Beach Hotel Bali
The Anvaya Beach Resort has 2 restaurants: Â Kunyit Restaurant which serves Indonesian Cuisine and Sands Restaurant which serves international cuisine.
The huge buffet breakfast is served at Sands Restaurant and offers so many choices that you might get lost trying to pick what to eat. It’s catered both for Asian and Western palettes and has an egg station, delicious waffles, fresh local fruits and lots of pastries. Don’t miss out on the ice cream and the yummy Balinese sweets! Sands Restaurant is also great for Tapas and has an amazing selection of wine.
My favorite experience was the Indonesian cuisine at Kunyit. This was my 3rd time in Bali, but I had never had such an authentic Balinese meal before. The restaurant itself is very bright and decorated with classical Balinese art. The service also matches the welcoming and warm-hearted culture that I love most about Bali. The staff is great at explaining the famous specialties full of flavor. For those with a sweet tooth, the Balinese desserts are highly recommended!
Jetsetter recommendations: head to the pool bar for some sunset cocktails or try the afternoon tea time for some relaxation.
My stay at The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali was sponsored, but as always all opinions are my own.
