30 Best Canggu Cafes For Breakfast & Brunch

After spending 3 months eating my way through Bali, I have put together a list of the best breakfast cafes in Canggu. During my stay, I tried over 40 different cafes and put together the best ones including a coffee taste rating for each one.

As a full-time travel blogger, I also spent a lot of my time working from different cafes in Bali. I’ve included which Canggu cafes are work-friendly as well.

Nude Canggu – Healthy Breakfast Spot

Nude is one of those Canggu cafes that has something for everyone. With both super healthy options and some naughty ones as well, Nude will surely satisfy all your cravings. There’s an air-conditioned section if you want to avoid the crazy Bali humidity. The outdoor section is very stylish and the bar area is perfect for getting some work done. In my opinion, it’s one of the best breakfasts in Canggu.

Cinta Cafe – For Breakfast with Rice Field Views

Looking to have a delicious breakfast with gorgeous views of rice fields? Cinta has a great breakfast menu between 8 AM to 10 AM for only 80,000 IDR, which includes a main dish, juice, and coffee. If you’re a digital nomad, the space is very work-friendly. You will find lots of people with their laptops and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

The Greenhouse

Great atmosphere to enjoy some delicious food and take a dip in their pool. To top it off, Greenhouse also has great ricefield views and a little garden area. They serve Italian pizza and Mediterranean options.

Silkroad Whole Foods

One of the newest cafes in Canggu, Silkroad has a super stylish and comfortable seating area. They offer organic healthy food, raw cakes and vegan ice cream.

Milk and Madu – Great Brunch Spot in Canggu

A tropical cafe to chill with friends and family. Milk & Madu offers all-day breakfast, fresh smoothies, salads, wraps, and burgers. They also have Lava Stone pizza and their own coffee brew. Milk and Madu offers the best brunch in Canggu.

Milu by Nook

If you’re looking to sip your favorite coffee and gaze at beautiful rice fields, then Milu by Nook is your spot. This Canggu cafe has a gorgeous bar area and serves Western and Asian cuisine.

Satu Satu Coffee Company

This Bali restaurant and local hangout is owned by a Balinese family. They have their own delicious specialty Bali coffee. Their menu has a huge variety of local and international options with extremely affordable prices.

Strawberry Fields

This super stylish spot is on the outskirts of Canggu (closer to Seminyak). They serve some of the best burgers in Bali. It’s a great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Cassava Bali

A very quiet spot with a great little pool and swing. Cassava is beautifully decorated with pastel colors and tropical vibes. They serve organic plant-based meals and delicious smoothies.

Cafe Organic Bali – Quick Breakfast Spot in Canggu

Small but cute spot for the best vegan meals, desserts, and coffee. Try the all-day breakfasts that include the most delicious smoothie bowls and vegan pancakes. They also have a huge selection of fresh juices and healthy shots.

Cafe Vida – Best Coffee in Canggu

Hands down the best coffee in Canggu. The iced latte is to die for and the menu has the best selection of healthy dishes, shots and juices. This Bali cafe is also very cute with both an indoor and outdoor space. I have to mention the downside of Cafe Veda is the service. The staff including the management are not at all friendly. I’ve consistently felt that as soon as I finish my coffee I have to pay and leave. I would advise you never to stay longer or take your laptop to work there.

Crate Cafe

A super popular spot for the creative community, Crate offers its own blend of coffee and delicious breakfast options. If you go in the morning, you most likely won’t find a place to sit. It’s a large self-service space with picnic-style sharing tables.

Shady Shack

A very cute spot with colorful salads and lots of vegan and raw desserts. The menu has a large selection and the seating area includes some high chairs around the bar which is perfect for working.

Parachute Restaurant Bali

One of the fancier options from the Canggu restaurants, you can spot this hip cafe/lounge from far away. It’s covered in a huge “parachute” and has a gorgeous seating area and garden. It’s a great spot to enjoy cocktails during sunset.

Motion Cafe Bali

The best place to get some healthy food in Bali. They also offer customized meal plans and catering services for specific diets like Keto, Paleo, protein-based and Alkaline.

Betelnut Bali

Affordable and delicious breakfast options with great rice field views. The upstairs is great to enjoy a coffee and gaze at the green space all around.

Alu Smoke & Kitchen

Locally owned cafe restaurant that offers amazing seafood dishes with local spices. The staff are so friendly and the seating area is both comfortable and beautiful. It’s on a quiet road with not too many people in the morning, so it’s perfect for working.

Peloton Supershop

The most famous vegan cafe in Bali was recently renovated and offers the best Vegan menu in town. It’s normally packed but it’s well worth the wait. The vegan pancakes are to die for.

Sprout

A small kid-friendly space with yummy salads and amazing omelets. Sprout can also be booked for special or private events.

Eden Cafe

Small but charming space with amazing pulled pork tacos. They also recently discontinued all single-use plastic items for their take away menu. A great sustainable initiative that a lot of restaurants in Canggu should follow.

Kembali

I discovered this beautiful spot when I was driving by and I had to stop to check it out. The outdoor space is stunning with lots of comfortable seats, plugs, fans, and amazing service. It’s a great spot both to get some work done or enjoy an amazing meal.

Cafe Cous Cous

As the name suggests, Cafe Cous Cous offers healthy Morrocan-inspired vegetarian food. They also have amazing coffee and one of the best iced lattes on the island.

Bucu

Tucked away on a quiet street, Bucu has an all-day buffet-style menu with very affordable local appetizers and dishes. The garden area is a great place to relax and it’s also very kid-friendly. The eggs benedict is highly recommended.

The Loft

Hip spot on the main road of Batu Bolong Street that has the famous pink wall with a quote “You’ll see it when you believe it”. They offer all day breakfast bowls and great smoothies.

The Avocado Factory

This cafe is heaven for avocado addicts. Their food menu has avocados in every dish. They also have a great selection of healthy smoothies and good coffee.

Quince Cafe

Amazing menu with a big selection to fit any dietary requirements. Staff are super friendly and the space is beautiful.

Secret Spot

This vegan/vegetarian cafe is not so secret anymore. They have amazing desserts and great coffee. You absolutely have to try the carrot cake here.

Hungry Bird

Small spot with great coffee, smoothies, and amazing pancakes. The staff is super friendly and the baristas are very talented. It’s the perfect cafe to grab a quick breakfast and enjoy a delicious coffee.

Ruko Cafe

Close to Berawa Beach, Ruko has an organic menu with all-day breakfast. They have their own house blend of Indonesian coffee. The colorful bowls are mouth-watering and I highly recommend the Charcoal Galaxy Bowl.

Bali Bowls

The name says it all! You’ll find the best breakfast bowls here with lots of vegan options. The portions are generous and you can find a variety of options (apart from the bowls) from breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s perfect to enjoy a refreshing bite after the beach.
